Unstitched suits in Pakistan: a buyer’s checklist

Meters, dupatta, trouser fabric, and brand policies — what to verify on unstitched listings before checkout on the brand’s site.

Before you add unstitched to cart (on the brand site)

Unstitched suits are still the backbone of Pakistani ready-to-stitch shopping. Listings look similar across brands — three-piece set, digital print, “lawn” in the title — but small differences in meters or dupatta quality change whether your tailor can match the model photo. Use The Brand Master to discover options; use this checklist on the brand page before you pay.

Checklist

  1. Shirt / kameez length — Some brands sell 2.5m, 3m, or separate “extra fabric” lines. Tall heights may need more yardage.
  2. Trouser / shalwar fabric — Included meters vary; plain dyed trouser fabric is not the same as printed lawn shirt.
  3. Dupatta — Full dupatta, half, or printed border only? Festive sets sometimes use a lighter dupatta than the shirt.
  4. Print placement — Digital prints can shift when cut. If border alignment matters, read brand FAQs or reviews on their site.
  5. Stitching services — A few brands offer in-house stitching for an extra fee; most expect your tailor.
  6. Undergarments & lining — Not included unless stated; budget for lining fabric on formal pieces.
  7. Delivery timeline — Unstitched during peak lawn season can ship slower; confirm on the brand checkout page.
  8. Exchange policy — Opened fabric packages are often non-returnable; verify before cutting.

How we list unstitched

We group products by taxonomy and fabric tags brands provide (and rules we apply for consistency). Titles and images come from brand feeds; if a listing omits meters, we cannot invent them — open the official product URL from our product page for the full description.

Pair with mood shopping

Filter by unstitched or suit categories, then fabric (lawn, cotton, cambric) and your budget band. That keeps the feed focused while you still compare across Khaadi, Sapphire, Gul Ahmed, and smaller labels in one session. Guide: How mood shopping works.

After purchase

Share the brand’s care instructions with your tailor (wash before stitch vs after, etc.). The Brand Master does not handle alterations, returns, or refunds — those relationships are always between you and the brand.
